1. SHOP
- go to kenyalang and end up with a whole bag full of stuff. really pretty, cheap but completely unnecessary stuff.
- want to buy fake make-up to decorate your room (*ahem* ring a bell, eva wong?
)
- think that starving to save money (to shop) is wholy acceptable.
- spend 10 minutes in a dinky stationary shop and end up buying 3 lanterns.
- buy smth you don’t need/don’t think is nice just because its cheap (cue dkny purse)
- hyperventilate when you see a shop selling everything for rm 15 (<3 sungai wang. yes, just call me lala chieng)
- must buy smth from the discount rack (so beng lynn!
)
- realise that you empty bag you brought back, that can contain 30 kg worth of things, is now, nt so empty anymore.
(yes dear shoppers of the world. feel guilty now)
2. WATCH TV
- can recite the schudule for all the shows on axn and the hallmark channel.
- start speaking like certain characters in the series that you currently watch! (him nice. him don’t bite!)
- feel super bored the moment there is no electricity in the house cos you can’t watch tv/stream shows online.
3. BIMBO
- manis and pedis are a way of life.
- know too much abt hollywood.
- e! = cnn
- perfected the bimbo accent
- can tell someone exactly what happened in the latest ep of gossip girl, but for the life of you, can’t remember what this morning’s ft updates were abt.
- have watched nth but chick flicks (discounting final destination) throughout summer
- leave your storybook entitled “chasing harry winston” behind, and without asking whether or nt it belongs to you, your mother immediately takes it and passes it back to you.

so holidays are amazing, have been and always will be. my brain is just rotting as we speak as it has not been put to much use over the last 3 months (apart from my short stint interning tht is)
its been a really good summer. wouldn’t have changed much. maybe would have travelled more, but i was too lazy to plan anything so ended up spending most of my time in kch
but it was good.
back to school now. can’t say i’m dreading it, but at the same time, can’t say i’m looking forward to going bck. 3rd yr. how time flies. i’m nt ready to grow up. i want to be a fresher all over again. and maybe some things will have been different.
ever wondered what could have been if you could turn back time?
i do. constantly.
